Company car drivers would pay more tax

Company car drivers in the UK would rather face double the tax on their car than downgrade their vehicle or use public transport, according to a survey by the RAC.
The RAC’s Report of Motoring 2004 found that of 250 company car drivers surveyed, 56 per cent would suffer increased motoring costs of £1,500 rather than use an alternative form of transport.
