Aerospace forum picks experienced manager

Irshad Booly has been appointed general manager of the West of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF), a government-funded trade association charged with making aerospace businesses in the south west more efficient.

Booly learnt his trade with the Royal Air Force, where he worked in a purchasing and logistics role for around 27 years.

He was responsible for purchasing "everything from bombs and bullets right through to socks and scarves".
