Procurement and contracts consultancy First Procurement Associates and engineering consultancy Interfleet Technology will advise Northern Ireland Railways on the purchase of 23 diesel multiple unit locomotives. The £70 million deal will replace existing trains. The new models are expected to be fully operational by March 2004.
