Northern Irish electricity company the Viridian Group has warned that the Republic of Ireland could face power shortages as new power plants are unlikely to be built in time to meet demand.
Northern Irish electricity company the Viridian Group has warned that the Republic of Ireland could face power shortages as new power plants are unlikely to be built in time to meet demand. The group urged the Irish government to build a large power station every two years if it is to meet the 5 per cent annual growth in demand.
