US retail chain Kmart has filed for bankruptcy after key suppliers stopped orders after the firm was unable to pay them.


US retail chain Kmart has filed for bankruptcy after key suppliers stopped orders after the firm was unable to pay them. They include food supplier Flemings, which last year negotiated a 10-year exclusive contract with the retailer.
