Auction for firm’s travel deal hosted by Covisint_3

A corporate travel contract has been won through an online auction on automotive e-marketplace Covisint for the first time.

The three-year UK corporate travel contract for Jaguar and Land Rover was awarded to American Express.

Under Covisint rules, the £12.5 million ($18 million) contract exceeded an undisclosed threshold, above which all purchasing decisions must be conducted by e-auction.
