Judges in the Supreme Court of the UK have unanimously ruled that employers may legitimately enforce mandatory retirement so as to allow younger workers into jobs.
The court dismissed an appeal from Lesley Seldon, himself a former lawyer, challenging his employer’s right to force him to retire at 65.
