Stock loss reduction call

Increased collaboration between suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and retailers would identify and reduce stock loss in the retail supply chain, according to a new report.
The study, by industry group Efficient Consumer Response Europe, combines a survey of the retail sector and case studies of 12 complete supply chains. It claims that damages, misplaced goods and theft cost the sector £11.2 billion annually.
