Senior buyers’ salaries in US top £100,000_2

US senior purchasers’ wages have risen to more than £100,000, according to a benchmarking study supported by the National Association of Purchasing Management.

Senior Purchasing and Supply 2001 Compensation Benchmarks and Demographics, from CAPS Research, examined 110 senior purchasing and supply chain managers’ wages. The average salary, with bonuses, rose in the past year from £99,909 to £112,467. Salaries before bonuses have increased by more than 7 per cent to £88,733, in line with UK figures.
