NHS negotiates renewable energy supplies_2

The NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency (PSA) has negotiated power contracts that will include 20 per cent of electricity from renewable resources.

The 12-month contract is split among three suppliers and will total 430GW of power to hospitals and the main Department of Health building.

Electricity to Guy’s Hospital and the St Thomas Trust in London will be 100 per cent green.
