New portal launched for small firms_2

A low-cost e-procurement portal for small and medium-sized businesses has just been launched by e-commerce company GE Global eXchange Services (GXS).

Express Marketplace uses a free public website hosted by the company, with no additional infrastructure outlay. Once buyers have registered, they can consult a free community directory of suppliers and invite interested parties to a private transaction or auction.
