Gershon vows regular assessment for office

Peter Gershon, chief executive of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), has said that the OGC will be continually reviewed “to align structures and use resources better”, writes David Arminas.

Gershon, speaking at the official launch of the OGC on 3 April, said the new body “will become the catalyst for achieving best practice”.

The former BAe Systems chief operating officer added that there will be a drive to hone the skills, such as project management, needed for more efficient procurement strategies.
