The Gas Forum has strongly criticised energy regulator Ofgem’s proposals for balancing gas supply and demand. Steve Ladle, the forum’s chairman, wrote to Ofgem criticising the speed at which the changes have been planned, claiming they will place huge burdens on the industry. He said Ofgem’s cost-benefit analysis was insufficient.
