Most companies think fraud is inevitable and cost it into their budgets, according to a survey of 800 managers by Management Today magazine.

But more than 30 per cent believe that if they cracked down on fraud such as expenses, invoice fiddling and making personal phone calls or surfing the internet, they would lose staff.
