Demand beats supply for management vacancies

Purchasing and supply management job vacancies are increasing at four times the average rate of growth of functions in the logistics sector, according to a survey by recruitment company BJD Group.

The study of senior managers at 65 companies found that the demand for purchasing or supply chain specialists with best-practice experience is consistent in all areas of procurement.
