Buyers last in job growth survey

Employment growth in purchasing is slower than in any other sector, according to the latest quarterly Recruitment Confidence Index (RCI).

Only 10 per cent of respondents predicted that the number of purchasing jobs would increase, a rise of 2 per cent on June’s figure. Other sectors such as production and engineering are predicting growth of 38 per cent and 28 per cent respectively.
