Business class proves less attractive_2

UK business travellers are increasingly favouring low-cost airlines and choosing to go business class less often, a major study has found.

The fourth annual Travel in Business survey by Company Barclaycard showed that 39 per cent of business travellers had flown on low-cost airlines, such as easyJet and British Airway’s Go, in 1999/2000 - up from 28 per cent in 1998/99. And 91 per cent said they would continue to use such airlines, compared with 86 per cent in 1998/99.
