Boeing orders plummet




Orders for Boeing’s passenger jets fell by 45 per cent last year as airlines suffered a loss of business in the wake of the 11 September terrorist attacks. Boeing, which moved its headquarters from Seattle to Chicago, said it took 335 orders in 2001, down from 608 in 2000.
