Money matters: On-line finance is now a serious threat to traditional banking, but there are still some teething problems
If it doesn’t finish with ".com" or ".uk" then it isn’t worth bothering with, according to Benny Higgins, managing director of retail banking at Royal Bank of Scotland. And he wasn’t talking about investments either. "If a bank does not offer an on-line service to its customers, then consumers should look elsewhere," he said.
