African leader backs training in corruption battle

Training is the only way to stem corruption in purchasing in Africa, according to the new CIPS African group chairman.
Abraham Mutakila, who is also president of CIPS’s Zambia branch, said it was vital to educate employers about the institute’s qualifications and to give the profession its proper status.
