Factotum Group acquires IT recruitment firm Sydney Tyler

National outsourcing group Factotum Group has acquired the talent acquisition business of IT recruitment services and consulting firm Sydney Tyler.

The deal adds recruitment, executive search and headhunting capabilities to the expansion plans of Factotum.

Factotum is a multi-disciplinary outsourcing practice offering accounting, HR, IT and marketing services. Earlier this year, the company acquired the businesses of R3 IT Services and Modus Analytics.

Sydney Tyler managing director Lucie Jeffries comes on board as talent acquisition partner. Joining Factotum with her team, this latest acquisition brings almost 50 years’ combined expertise in building domestic and international teams for technology and digital businesses. The team acts for a select portfolio of global digital transformation consultancies, international software vendors and multinational businesses wishing to set up new offices overseas.

According to a Factotum statement: “The team’s competitive edge lies in its function to act as an indispensable growth partner fulfilling clients’ strategic goals. They resource a broad spectrum of companies across many sectors including start-ups, FinTechs, digital disruptors and established FTSE listed companies.”

The deal adds to Factotum’s core HR support capabilities including compliance, performance management, employee engagement, dispute resolution, contracts and handbooks, HR administration, staff wellbeing, training, and rewards and benefits.
