Badenoch und Clark: Recruiter launches in Germany

Professional recruiter Badenoch & Clark is to focus initially on accounting and finance professionals as it opens its first German offices in Dusseldorf, Frankfurt-am-Main and Hamburg.
Mon, 10 Jun 2013Professional recruiter Badenoch & Clark is to focus initially on accounting and finance professionals as it opens its first German offices in Dusseldorf, Frankfurt-am-Main and Hamburg.
The company, part of staffing group Adecco, says further offices in the country are also being planned.
The new venture has Dusseldorf as its HQ, where director Harco J Leertouwer, who previously worked for recruiter PageGroup, having started his career in management with InterContinental Hotels Group, will be based.
Frankfurt is being led by Brenda Oppitz, previously of Capitalent Medical, who also worked for Young Executive Recruitment (YER).
Hamburg-based managing consultant Wibke Gauster has several years’ real estate and recruitment experience, the latter coming with previous employer PageGroup. Gauster’s LinkedIn profile also indicates responsibility for sales & marketing recruitment.
Two other UK-based recruiters to have opened recently in Germany’s seventh-largest city include Eurostaff in May last year and Goodman Masson in April this year, with Goodman Masson’s country lead also joining from Page.
