International Brisbane-based travel agency Flight Centre is looking to add 1,000 new sales consultants, which would see its global sales force increase by 10%.

This announcement was made in the company’s profit guidance note for the year to 30 June.It expects to post profit before tax of between AUS$285m (£188m) and AUS$290m when it reports its full year accounts on 28 August.

The company operates in 11 markets worldwide, with its China, Dubai and Singapore operations on course to post record profits.
