SAP specialist recruiter PeopleCo has announced that SAP is still popular with its users and jobs will either increase or hold up, according to a new survey.

SAP specialist recruiter PeopleCo has announced that SAP is still popular with its users and jobs will either increase or hold up, according to a new survey.

A survey, announced at the UK&I SAP User Group Conference at Hammersmith, shows that 67% of respondents expected that SAP headcount will either remain the same or increase throughout 2009, while 71% of delegates rated SAP at four out of five or above as a product, with 53% already running the latest SAP ECC6 solution and a further 45% identify upgrade projects as the SAP priority for 2009.

Commenting on the results, Martyn Barrow, managing director at PeopleCo, says: “Despite the doom and gloom, SAP practitioners seem to be staying upbeat. As the product lies at the heart of its user enterprises it should be the priority tool for maintenance and upgrade even in tough economic times.”
