June 2012Tim Munden has been promoted to the UK & Ireland role of vice president (HR) at FMCG [fast-moving consumer goods] giant Unilever, and is the fourth member of the nine-person UK & Ireland board who joined Unilever at graduate level.

Munden joined the company 18 years ago on the Unilever Future Leaders Programme having retired from the Armed Forces for medical reasons. He has headed HR for various Unilever divisions across Europe and the Americas. 

Munden says: “My goal is to make Unilever the unquestioned employer of choice in the FMCG and retail industry. Talent and leadership development are two of my main focuses so that our employees can enjoy long careers at Unilever.”
