nGAGE Talent buys shift booking app Ryalto

nGAGE Talent has acquired workforce communications, engagement and flexible shift booking app Ryalto in its first strategic acquisition of 2023.

With a focus on worker (user) experience, Ryalto is primarily delivered as a social media style mobile app but can also be accessed using the dedicated desktop version via a web browser. Backed by an analytics module, organisations that use Ryalto have access to “a rich, live data set that helps them develop their people and culture strategies based on real-time facts and figures”, an nGAGE Talent statement said.

Ryalto CEO Jon Bennett remains in his role.

Ryalto has focused on healthcare and care over the last three years, working with clients including Spire Healthcare, Circle Health Group, the NHS, primary care providers (GPs) and a range of social care providers. However, the company looks to serve other sectors as well, the statement said.

nGAGE Group CEO Tim Cook said: “We know the market well and Ryalto offers something completely different. Workers that access Ryalto use it as their starting point every day. They check company news, pick up important changes in policies and procedures, complete short feedback surveys, hear from their leaders, connect with each other on the messenger and book and manage their flexible work schedule. They do this whilst enjoying an app that works and feels like their favourite social apps and all on their own phone or tablet, anytime and anywhere.”

Legal support was provided to nGAGE by Mishcon de Reya and to the seller by Keystone Law.

M&A advice was provided to the seller by Goldenhill International M&A Advisors.
