BBC creates digital jobs at Salford Quays

The BBC is creating 200 digital jobs at its Salford Quays home in the North-West.

The Manchester Evening News reports the broadcaster is seeking engineers, product and project managers, and UX designers to work on some of its major digital services, including BBC Sport, as well as children’s, education and its web homepage.

BBC North opened its base in Greater Manchester’s Salford Quays in 2011, which is home to 3,000 staff.
