Amazon to recruit for 1,200 jobs in Warrington

Amazon is to create 1,200 new permanent jobs through the opening of a new fulfilment centre in Warrington.

The online retail giant revealed in a statement that it would begin recruiting later this year for a range of new roles, including operations managers, engineers, HR and IT specialists.

Warrington is one of four new fulfilment centres that Amazon will open in 2017 alongside Daventry, Doncaster and Tilbury, creating more than 2,300 new permanent full-time jobs.

The Daventry site opened in February while Doncaster, Warrington and Tilbury begin operations in autumn.
