Specialist recruitment group nGAGE has acquired built environment recruiter Setsquare for an undisclosed sum.

Setsquare operates from six offices in the UK, focusing solely within two core areas of the built environment – construction and maintenance.

Setsquare is headed up by managing director David Trotman who, according to nGAGE, has been involved with the business for about a year. He is a former director of Hays Specialist Recruitment, according to Bloomberg Business. 

Previous Setsquare owner and founder Mike Watson is retiring but will remain in a consultancy capacity for the transition period. 

The Setsquare brand will remain.
