US-listed global recruiter Kelly Services has “entered 2016 as a more efficient organisation”, its chairman and chief executive Carl Camden says, announcing the firm’s financial results.

His comment refers to significant restructuring conducted over 2014 and 2015.

In Q4 2015, the three months to 3 January 2016, the firm earned US$26.5m (£18.2m) from operations, up from $8.8m in Q4 2014. The 2014 figure excludes a restructuring cost of $6.2m.

Kelly Service’s financial statement, released yesterday, shows restructuring costs of $12m over the whole of 2015.  

Over the year, the UK made $105.1m in revenue for Kelly Services, down 0.4% year-on-year but up 7.3% in constant currency. 

The statement also shows:

• Q4 revenue increased 2.6% year-on-year to $1.5bn. In constant currency (CC) terms, it increased 7.3%

• Americas revenue increased 2% (CC: 4%) to $946.2m

• Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) revenue decreased 1.7% (CC: increased 11.1%) to $245.2m

• Asia Pacific (APAC) revenue decreased 4.5% (CC: up 10.1%) to $97.9m

• Q4 gross profit (GP) increased 7.2% (CC: 11.7%) to $249.5m

• Americas GP increased 11.4% (CC: 13.2%) to $153m

• EMEA GP decreased 6.1% (CC: up 6.8%) to $36.9m

• APAC GP decreased 15.7% (CC: 3.1%) to $12.8m

• Full-year revenue decreased 0.8% (CC: up 4.7%) to $5.5bn. 

• Americas revenue increased 0.3% (CC: 2%) to $3.6bn

• EMEA revenue decreased 12.9% (CC: increased 3.4%) to $945m

• APAC revenue decreased 1.1% (CC: up 12.9%) to $387.7m

• Full-year GP increased 1.3% (CC: 6.4%) to $920.3m

• Americas GP increased 5.5% (CC: 7.1%) to $565.3m

• EMEA GP decreased 17.5% (CC: 1.7%) to $143.2m

• APAC GP decreased 7.4% (CC: 5.2%) to $55.8m
