German recruitment group Amadeus FiRe has announced it achieved consolidated sales of €169.7m (£132m) in the 2015 fiscal year, up 5.4% on 2014.

Its preliminary results, released yesterday ahead of a press conference and analysts meeting on Monday, also show a gross profit of €72.8m, a 7.3% increase in 2014, and EBITA (earnings before interest, tax and goodwill amortisation) of €28.7m, a 7.1% increase on 2014.

Its selling and admin expenses increased to €44.3m from €41.1m in 2014. This was mainly due to “personnel expenditures”, though the company points out it did not grow its client-facing headcount as much as it had planned.
