InterQuest appoints Eldridge CEO
IT, analytics and digital staffing specialist InterQuest Group has appointed Chris Eldridge as its new chief executive.
An InterQuest statement released this morning reveals Eldridge will succeed Mark Braund, who it was announced in July would be leaving to join telecommunications company Coms as its new CEO early next year.
After initially shelving plans this summer to hire a new CEO, the group has now hired Eldridge. In the intervening period chairman Gary Ashworth took the role of executive chairman.
Eldridge joins InterQuest following a decade at professional executive recruiter PSD, where he was global head of its technology practice. At PSD he focused on recruiting specialist digital, business information, internet of things, machine-to-machine (M2M), big data and analytics roles.
Eldridge has also previously held director roles at Adecco company Spring Group and at global executive search and leadership services firm Harvey Nash.
The statement adds Eldridge is expected take up his role on 2 May 2016 after a handover period at his current employer.
InterQuest adds it is continuing its search for a new chief financial officer and has identified a shortlist, adding it is “highly encouraged” with the quality of the candidates it has seen.
