Volt appoints Dean president and CEO

Volt Information Sciences, an international provider of staffing and information technology infrastructure services, has appointed Michael Dean as president and chief executive.

In a statement, Volt revealed Dean will remain a member of the board, but will no longer act as chairman. Current board member Dana Messina now takes the role of chairman.

Dean joined Volt’s board as chairman in May 2015 and was elected interim president and CEO in June. He was most recently CEO of global health and wellness company Nature’s Sunshine Products. 

He is based in the firm’s Californian office in Orange County.
