Simon Bassett, former managing director of EMR, has launched marketing recruitment specialist TML Partners.

TML Partners specialises in placing senior marketing talent, primarily chief marketing officers, marketing directors and their management teams for blue chips and high-growth businesses. 

The venture is majority owned by staff.

In a statement, Bassett said the business was launched because “the next generation of marketing leaders looks very different”.

“Marketing talent has become the new currency in the digital world. Effective marketing is high on every leadership agenda and is critical to business success.”

TML is an acronym for Tomorrow’s Marketing Leaders. “It’s what we stand for in every sense,” Bassett added. 

EMR, part of the FiveTen Group, was also a marketing recruitment specialist.
