Acorn buys Australian B2B Engineering

UK multi-regional recruitment and training company Acorn has acquired B2B Engineering, a Perth, Western Australia-based oil & gas recruiter, via its Australian subsidiary Synaco Global Recruitment.

UK multi-regional recruitment and training company Acorn has acquired B2B Engineering, a Perth, Western Australia-based oil & gas recruiter, via its Australian subsidiary Synaco Global Recruitment.

According to South Wales-headquartered Acorn, B2B Engineering specialises in supplying white-collar professionals to energy and oil & gas facilities across Australia and the Pacific region, and has a turnover of AUS$10m (£4.7m).

As part of the deal, B2B Engineering directors Marc Van Der Smissen and Vince Kenny will both continue working with Synaco in an advisory capacity.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. 

French recruiter Synergie owns the majority of Acorn shares.
