Scrap metal recycler EMR has appointed Rowland Cooper as group HR director, according to Cooper’s LinkedIn profile. 

Cooper joins from defence and aerospace manufacturer BAE Systems’ Maritime Submarines division, where he was HR director for the last six years. He had worked at BAE Systems for 10 years, previously as Typhoon Mission Systems & International Programmes HR director. 

Also according to LinkedIn, Alex Lewis, who was previously BAE Systems HR director, employee relations and engagement, has succeeded Cooper at BAE Systems.
