US healthcare staffing and workforce solutions provider Cross Country Healthcare has revealed its nurse and allied staffing division is leading the company’s growth.

The company’s Q4 and FY 2014 results, released yesterday [4 March], show revenue within the division increased 112% (US$4.8m to $11.1m [£3.1m to £7.3m]) in the three months to December 31 2014, as compared to the same period in 2013.

The company attributed growth to “robust organic growth and the impact of acquisitions”.

Revenue from the human capital management services division increased 14% in Q4, while revenue in the physician staffing division increased 1%.

Overall, revenue was up 72% to $188.1m in the quarter with adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) at $6.2m, or 3.3% of revenue.

Revenue for the full year was $617.8m, up 41% year-on-year and adjusted EBITDA was $17.2m or 2.8% of revenue.
