Cowgill’s investment bolsters the company’s financial fortunes further, following the recent securing of £3.2m of growth capital from Centric Commercial Finance.

Founded in Staffordshire, Uniting Ambition has offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds. Its customers include Just Eat, Laterooms.com, Claire’s Accessories and Bet 365.

The company fills vacancies entry level to chief executive, a company spokeswoman told Recruiter, across sectors including retail, technology, gaming, financial services, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), manufacturing and business services. It claims to specialise in “building high growth, privately owned and capital invested businesses”.

Led by founder and chief executive Adam Shaw, Uniting Ambition is experiencing major developments including new appointments to the board.

The latest was investment specialist Brian Buckley, who will support the business in achieving growth plans, according to a company statement. Andy Leadbetter, former managing director of Moneysupermarket.com and Phones 4u Direct, joined earlier this year as chief operating officer.
