FINANCIALS: Cpl Resources posts year-end profit

Irish recruitment firm Cpl Resources has announced a pre-tax profit of €14.4m (£11.4m) for the year ended 30 June, a 17% increase on the previous year.
Tue, 2 Sep 2014Irish recruitment firm Cpl Resources has announced a pre-tax profit of €14.4m (£11.4m) for the year ended 30 June, a 17% increase on the previous year.

Operating profit increased 21% to €14.2m, revenue increased 12% to €369.3m and there was a 12% increase in net fee income to €54.7m.

Company chief executive Anne Heraty said the company achieved “record revenues and gross profit [net fee income]”, with both almost doubling over the last four years.

Company chairman John Hennessy said in a statement: “Our results reflect growth across all our major areas and locations.”

He said the company experienced growth in demand for people to fill permanent and temporary positions across the many sectors in which it operates. Fees from permanent placements reflected this, growing 31% year-on-year.
