Flight Centre recruits 30 with opening of Aberdeen store

Low airfare specialist Flight Centre has created 30 jobs with the opening today in Aberdeen of its eighth store in Scotland.
Thu, 19 Jun 2014Low airfare specialist Flight Centre has created 30 jobs with the opening today in Aberdeen of its eighth store in Scotland.

The recruits join 30 other staff in the Union Street building, which will also be the new home in the city of the company’s business travel division, FCm Travel Solutions. FCm’s customers include more than 40 national and multinational companies operating in the region’s offshore, marine and energy sectors.

Flight Centre offers flight-only travel, package holidays and overland travel through more than 87 UK retail stores and its website, flightcentre.co.uk.

Alison Zacher, managing director of Flight Centre Retail UK, says: “With all Flight Centre’s travel experience under one roof, we will provide customers with a one-stop store.”

Store general manager Nicole Bendall adds: “We look forward to welcoming people across the city looking for tailor-made holidays and great-value airfares, and to being part of the business community here.”
