Executive search and specialist recruitment software platform Invenias has secured expansion funding to the value of around $1.5m (£977,815) from investment firm MMC Ventures and several private investors.

The private investors include Mark Farmer, founder of tech investor firm Eden Ventures.

This investment will accelerate Invenias’ “product development and customer acquisition objectives”, according to a company statement.

Founded in 2005, Invenias has made senior hires in its development, marketing and sales functions in recent months, and also recently made its product available for iPad and iPhone.
