Employees in India, Mexico and China are the most willing to move abroad to find the right job, according to the latest Randstad Workmonitor – and the first two countries in this trio also have the world’s happiest workforce.

The recruitment group's survey, which is available online, spoke to at least 400 workers in every country and covers 32 of the world’s largest markets. It saw 73% of Indians, 70% of Mexicans, and 69% of Chinese willing to look beyond their national borders.

Respondents in the US (31%), Czech Republic (30%) Denmark (28%) were least willing to look overseas.

Despite varying levels of interest in overseas work, Denmark and Mexico are the most satisfied workers worldwide, with 81% of those in both Denmark and India, and 82% those based in Mexico, saying they are satisfied in their current role.

Japan, at 34%, has the least satisfied workers globally.
