The firm already has headquarters in Aberdeen and an office in Perth, Australia.

Houston will be led by managing partner Joy Brown Kirst, who joined the business in March. She was previously director of alumni and corporate relations at Rice University in Houston, and previously worked in executive search for over 10 years, including with Heidrick & Struggles.

Park Brown managing director Stuart Cochrane describes Houston’s oil & gas market as “exceptionally robust”.
