Norwegian MP leads new Amrop recruitment partners

A former Norwegian MP and four further hires with a variety of professional backgrounds are among five new partners hired across three continents for global executive search network Amrop.

A former Norwegian MP and four further hires with a variety of professional backgrounds are among five new partners hired across three continents for global executive search network Amrop.

Malcolm Bernstein joins to lead the Amrop Knightsbridge Academic Practice in Canada. He was previously a principal at search rival Odgers Berndtson Canada, and is on the board of the professional body the Strategic Leadership Forum. 

Marcello Fontana arrives at the Milan office, following 25 years in management consulting and executive search including time at search firm Boyden and professional services company PwC.

Hendrik Geissler is appointed in Munich. He has 14 years of executive search experience, including time at TMP Worldwide and Gemini Executive Search, and previously worked for a number of major computing firms.

Peter Gitmark joins in Oslo, having previously been a member of the Norwegian Parliament for 12 years.

Gerald Lee, who joins in Hong Kong, has been in executive search since 2000, including spells at Odgers and Russell Reynolds Associates, and had previously worked for the Airport Authority of Hong Kong and The Economist Conferences.
