Malvern Hills Science Park
The Worcestershire science hub will create 150 jobs when phase four of the development is completed.

Investments of £4m has been put into the science park’s expansion, writes local paper Malvern Gazette.

Work would begin at the end of this year subject to planning approval.

Moy Park
The food manufacturer is intending to invest £20m in its factory in Gonerby Hill Foot near Grantham, Lincolnshire.

This could create up to 150 new jobs as well as securing the future of over 700 current roles, according to local news site This is Lincolnshire.

The business is also consolidating the Grantham operation and another convenience food operation in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire with any staff facing redundancy guaranteed redeployment if the new project gets underway.

RWE npower renewables
Plans for a new wind farm in Wales could create several hundred jobs.

The plans for a facility new Swansea – which caused significant controversy due to their location at a local beauty spot – were only narrowly approved by local councillors.

Bethan Edwards, a senior developer for RWE npower renewables, the firm behind the plans, told BBC Radio Wales that the scheme will create up to 400 jobs for local people.

The company also notes a likely 104 jobs during each year of construction.
