Mon, 11 Feb 2013Executive search firm Fairway Partners has launched personal career mentoring scheme Future Proof Programme for banking and finance professionals who have either been made redundant, or are looking towards new career possibilities.

Future Proof sees clients undertake a six-month programme, costing £1,000, working with experts including the programme’s chief executive officer Nader Bawany, as well as business guru Chris Barrat and life coach Zena Everett. Elements include the art of networking, skills appraisal and securing better packages.

Bawany, who has previously worked with financial services giants Bank of America and Morgan Stanley, describes the programme: “It’s a question of flipping the executive search process on its head. A search or recruitment firm will work on behalf of the employer, as that is who ultimately pays the fees. Now, here is a bespoke service that puts the interests of the candidate firmly at the forefront of the agenda.”

He continues: “We are revealing what some might call the ‘dark arts’ of search and selection, giving people an insight into our core area of what we do every day.”
