Baird takes stake in SR Group

Buyout fund Baird Capital Partners Europe has made an investment in recruitment group SR Group.

SR Group’s five specialist recruitment brands are executive search firm SR Search, HR recruiter Frazer Jones, legal recruiter Taylor Root, marketing recruiter Carter Murray and taxation recruiter Brewer Morris.

Baird will leverage its international network to help support the expansion of SRG’s business in Europe and Asia. Additionally, Baird operating partner Tim Trotter will join SRG’s existing management team as non-executive chairman.

Baird’s current portfolio includes investments in Nigel Wright Group, a recruitment consultancy specialising in the consumer industries sector in the UK and internationally, and Synarbor, a public sector recruitment and services company. 

Debt funding for the transaction is provided by Beechbrook Capital.
