Job and career site Job Basket has launched a fully mobile solution known as GuideCast, described by its developer Alex McAuley as “a hybrid of a forum and a real-time chat app” for jobseekers.

McAuley, also the co-owner of Job Basket, developed the software using the free open source database MongoDB, says that the company is offering the solution in partnership with universities’ and colleges’ career advisers, as well as to recruitment consultancies.
