Global executive search firm Pedersen & Partners has hired Yannis Katzilieris as country manager for Greece, and also added new principal Herfried Leitner to its Austrian team.

Global executive search firm Pedersen & Partners has hired Yannis Katzilieris as country manager for Greece, and also added new principal Herfried Leitner to its Austrian team.

With Katzilieris moving following over 15 years’ executive search experience with Egon Zehnder, former Greek country manager Iraklis Papadopoulos moves into a regional role, managing the firm’s Nicosia (Cyprus), Tirana (Albania) and Skopje (Macedonia) bases.

Katzilieris’ previous experience comes in various corporate roles with consumer brands Braun and Procter & Gamble and logistics provider DHL.

Leitner also joins the Austrian office with a logistics background, moving from a role as chief executive of Austrian firm Helogistics, having also previously been general manager for Maersk Logistics in the Czech Republic for seven years. This is his first executive search role.
