The Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) and Jobcentre Plus have renewed an agreement that their organisations will work together sharing their expertise and knowledge to help employers and jobseekers around the UK.
Helping people into work by giving them the right support and opportunities for training and jobs will be one of the focuses of the agreement, which was signed by employment minister Mark Hoban in a visit to the REC’s offices on Friday (9 November).
Other key points of the agreement, which was first signed in 2010, include sharing expertise to create the best ways of helping people back into work and acting as champions against discrimination and unfair employment practices.
